Weekly Progress + Plan

 this is my weekly progress for our music video project

Week 1 : So in this week we started organizing the groups for our music video and our teacher told us the main idea and what the rules are for making the videos, my group is Bams and Maha although we only have 3 people, im sure we will work well as a team because we have chemistry

Week 2: In this week we learned about media ecology and 5 types of convergences and we also continued our music research and so far I've only did 2 so its a problem because i need to be more efficient with my time and not procrastinate since the due date is on thursday. 

Week 3: In this week we were attacked by the genre research homework where we had to continue and there were many homeworks from other subjects too so this made me very stressed and i had to stay up late at night doing this challenging task

Week 4: this is the week where we actually started making progress on our project such as doing statement of intent, luckily all of my group was participating and putting effort into this so we got it done really fast, we also imagined all the scenes that were gonna be in the music video, this was the most fun part of our week where we get to vision each and every scene

Week 5: We started to learn about persona where we discussed about how artists creats a public persona to kind of create another identity of them which can attract more audience and tells a story. this week we also created a canva slide about persona where were gonna put in our blogs. i think that this week was a bit more calm since there was no disturbance from other subjects and i could put more focus on media studies and complete my work effortlessly.

Week 6: This week we only mostly did project lessons which are my favorite because i love imagining scenes. we started with our location scout and storyboards which we split that work between our members. and i was very happy that all of my group members were working hard and putting effort into our project and no one was slacking. We also did a unit assessment about Media ecology which i fortunately passed so i am very satisfied with that although my scores were not as good as the others.

Reflection: Overall i am pretty satsified with all the background work that me and my group was working on, we worked efficiently and we did all tasks on time which is very to look at since i had a very sloppy group previously but i think this group is perfect. we did all the pre production on time and we seperated the tasks equally. Although we had difficulties communicating with eachother because Bamz is in japan so its kind of frustrating. Luckily, Me, Maha and alex compromised and worked as hard as we can to get the work done
